Lekker Braai was born the way most good South African ideas are: around a fire, with a cold drink in hand and the rugby on in the background.
We love everything about the braai. The smell of the first coals, the debate about when the wors is ready, the whole family arguing about the ref at half-time. What we didn't love was the next morning: standing over a crusty grid with a wire brush, scrubbing away last night's chops.
